As you may have already heard, Guy Sedillo is taking on the new Training Manager position with PSIA & AASI RM to oversee the Total Training program. Guy began his Vail teaching career in 1993, and worked for the last ten years as a product manager: six years in LHA and four years with VV. This is an exciting opportunity for Guy and a great win for the Rocky Mountain division. You can also look forward to seeing Guy teaching and leading training at Vail in blue this winter!
Abby Fix is also transitioning to blue this year after three years as Golden Peak’s admin. This spring she accepted a position with Gorsuch Ltd., and will be joining us to teach part-time this winter.

The Vail Village Training Supervisor position is a mix of training and operations support. The Training Supervisor is responsible for the creation, administration, quality, and staffing of location and School trainings as well as daily and seasonal operational supervisor duties. We’re excited to announce the addition of a Children’s Lesson Supervisor position to the Lionshead Children’s School. This position will manage a family of 45-55 children’s instructors and be the liaison between other location/program supervisors, and the product sales team. Hiring Manager: Dan Houck. Finally, Golden Peak Adult and Lionshead Children’s Ski School are both hiring Administrative Assistants for the 15-16 season. Administrative Assistants provide support for location managers and supervisors, including the oversight of department payroll, coordinating instructor hiring and separation paperwork, and working with Inside Staff and Product Sales personnel.
