Vail & Beaver Creek Logan Academy

The mission of the Vail & BC Logan Academy is to expand the tradition of the Logan Scholarship for National Academy by providing national level training to instructors that show strong performance, keen interest in training, and significant potential for future contribution to the Vail and Beaver Creek Ski and Snowboard Schools.

Who: Logan Academy hosts 64 Vail and Beaver Creek Ski and Snowboard Instructors and 8 instructors from Breckenridge, Keystone, and Crested Butte. This includes 32 Alpine attendees, 24 Snowboard attendees, and 8 Adaptive attendees.

What: This event mirrors the experience you receive at PSIA-AASI’s National Academy with a 3-day academy at Vail with PSIA-AASI National Team members. This is a great opportunity for you to ski and ride with the best and improve your own skills… plus it is a ton of FUN!

When: 2020: February 4-7. The evening of the 4th we will host a kickoff party, then 3 days of on snow clinics with a wrap up celebration on the evening of the 7thth.

Where: Vail Mountain

How to attend: Express your interest in attending to your Supervisor or Training Manager. Attendance is by Supervisor and Manager nomination. Nominees are evaluated based on performance, attendance in training and certification, influence as a role model to other instructors and their students, and professional representation at Logan Academy. Attendees will be selected by a panel including Directors, Managers, Training Managers, and representatives of Kent and Vicki Logan.

*Note, you may apply to both the Vail & BC Logan Academy and the Logan Scholarship for National Academy.
