As a certified instructor you become a part of an elite group of instructors that makes the Vail Ski and Snowboard School world renowned.
Throughout the season our trainers deliver extensive on-snow and indoor training sessions to help with your journey to certification.
The Professional Ski and Instructors of America and American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA-AASI) are the accrediting organization that we use to uphold a common standard of excellence. In Colorado, we are part of the Rocky Mountain division of PSIA-AASI.
How do I become certified?
For all disciplines there are a series of levels beginning with Level 1. Each level requires you to perform a series of on-snow, teaching, and movement analysis oral and written exams.
