Don’t Miss Your Chance to Attend Logan Academy or National Academy!
Hopefully you’ve been able to get out and enjoy the amazing snow we’ve received in the last few weeks. As we enter this snowy February, there are a many opportunities to train with some of the best trainers in the country – if you can’t find a clinic in the computer that interests you, please talk to your Training Supervisor and suggest some clinics you’d like to attend!
Logan Academy & Scholarship to National Academy
There’s less than a week left to apply for the Logan Academy at Vail and the Logan Scholarship to National Academy. Talk to your supervisor for more information, or visit: http://www.vailsnowpros.com/events/logan-academy/ and http://www.vailsnowpros.com/events/logan-scholarship/
All applications and nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Monday, February 8th.
Park Pass Stickers
All instructors MUST have a visible park pass sticker to teach in the terrain parks in Vail. If you have not yet received your Park Pass sticker, talk to your location’s training manager! We have Orange Park Pass clinics going out every week, so if you haven’t completed the course yet and want to teach in the park, sign up in the computer. Please read the Terrain Park guidelines in the R&G and talk to your supervisor if you have any questions regarding the Park Pass.
Training Feedback Form
This year we announced many changes to the training program. These changes came directly from you, from feedback received in the Employee Engagement Survey and the Training Feedback Form.
Please take a few minutes to fill out the Training Feedback Form for clinics that you’ve attended this year. Your feedback is an essential component of our training program!
Green Zone Passport Clinics
Want to show your supervisors your dedication to training and improving yourself? Check the computer for 8am Passport Verification Clinics and keep working on your Green Zone Passport. The Passport is our in-house program that you can use to show your progress as you train through the season.
Thank you, and let the snow fly!
